As we head into summer, I wanted to share some of the ways we can work together - and a few exciting things on the horizon. ☀️

“Good girl” conditioning isn’t just a personality trait or how we were raised-  it’s often a nervous system strategy as well.

For many people, being “good” became tied to safety, belonging, approval, love, or avoi
Ultimately, “enough-ness” grows when children repeatedly experience:
“I can be fully human - joyful, struggling, growing, imperfect - and still deeply worthy of love and belonging.” ❤️
Working with exiles/wounded parts can be deeply healing… but it’s also nuanced work.

Earlier on in my career, the conventional approach to helping a child with eating struggles was more of a “my way or the highway” and a “one-size-fits-all” type of style… And don’t get me wrong, eating issues can
Diet culture tells women:
👉 your body isn’t acceptable as it is

Anti-aging culture adds:
👉 and neither is the fact that it changes over time

Together, they create a moving target you can never quite hit.

Rumination isn’t just “overthinking”- it’s a loop that truly keeps you stuck. 🔁
