Hey there, I’m Dr. Emily Ciepcielinski.

I’m a therapist and supervisor with 20 years of experience specializing in anxiety, eating disorders, and body image. I help people reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and build lasting healing. I also create mental health content - digital courses and practical tools that help individuals and families access evidence-based mental health support.

My Clinical Approach & Areas of Expertise

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in approaches that are both deeply human and supported by research. My work integrates relational therapy, nervous system support, somatic and parts-informed practices, as well as evidence-based treatment to help clients move toward meaningful and sustainable change.

Collaborative, Warm & Relational

I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel truly seen and understood. Our work will be collaborative and paced in a way that honors your readiness, your story, and your goals. I believe that healing happens within supportive relationships, and the therapeutic relationship itself is an important part of the change process.

Somatic-Based

Our minds and bodies are deeply interconnected. I incorporate somatic and nervous system-informed approaches to help clients better understand how stress, anxiety, and past experiences show up in the body. Together, we work on building awareness of physical sensations, emotional states, and nervous system responses so that you can develop greater regulation, resilience, and a stronger sense of connection with your body.

Effective & Rooted in the Latest Science

While my clinical approach is highly relational and personalized, it is also grounded in practices that are supported by research. My work draws from evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, anxiety, and related concerns, while integrating newer understandings of nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and experiential healing. My goal is to help you develop practical tools and meaningful insights that lead to lasting change in your daily life.
